Putnam County Hospital- Employment Opportunites 

Recruitment Case Study 

This assignment was completed in my Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management course. In this project, I acted as an HR recruiter for Putnam County Hospital and created a recruitment plan for a specific position. The goal was to understand the hiring process and develop strategies to attract and select qualified candidates. This project helped me apply what I learned in class to a real healthcare organization.

What I learned

I chose this assignment because it really helped me understand the recruitment process in a real-world healthcare setting. I put a lot of time and effort into it, especially when it came to thinking through how to attract and select the right candidate for the position. This was one of the first times I had to create a full recruitment plan, so it was something new for me and pushed me to think more like an HR professional. I’m proud of this work because it shows my ability to apply what I’ve learned in class to a real organization. It also connects to my future career goals in healthcare administration and human resources, where recruiting and managing employees is very important.
