This artifact is a group strategic planning project I completed for my PBHL-H401 course, Strategic Planning in Health Organizations. My team developed a comprehensive strategic plan for Riverview Health hospital, including research, analysis, and strategic initiatives. This project demonstrates how we applied strategic planning concepts to a real-world healthcare organization.
What I learned
I picked this assignment because it gave me the opportunity to work in a team and apply what I learned to a real-world healthcare setting. My group created a strategic plan for Riverview Health hospital, and I contributed to both the document and the presentation slides. I spent a lot of time working on my parts and making sure everything came together clearly, which made me proud of the final result. This assignment was meaningful to me because it helped me build my teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking skills. It also gave me a better understanding of how hospitals plan for challenges and improve their services, which is important for my future career in healthcare administration.
